In our minds our wedding was going to be more like a party, an intimate celebration with our loved ones rather than a formal and traditional event. We asked our best friend Desmond to to lead a symbolic blessing for us and another friend to compose a poem for us. We were revolutionary with our guest list too: no formalities, only people who played a big and real part in our lives were invited and we think the atmosphere on the day was direct reflection of this - full of love and support! Although, I still wanted my dad to walk me to Arvin as per tradition.

Arvin and I have big personalities and there was never going to be a place big enough to contain us: Our party had to be outside! so we searched for ages until we found Tenuta Pinto: it had everything we were looking for, the Italian authenticity, excellent food and wine, the superduper garden, as well as the Pinto family who were amazing throughout the whole process.

As opposed to other venues that tried to sell us packages, the Pintos listened to our requests and immediately were willing to host this  Italo-Indo wedding! They gave us the best service one can dream of, , complete with moustached waiters! They helped in adding an Indian touch to an Italian venue and the result was a dream come true. Everything we had imagined in our minds materialised on the day!!

The band was a lucky find and they blew everyone away with their incredible talent. Their vibes perfectly matched our personalities and added an invaluable Italian 50s swing flavour to the event! It goes without saying that the feel of the day and everyone’s emotions were beautifully captured by these amazing pictures. Working with Andrea (and Yulia and Francesco) was a true pleasure. He understood our craziness and transformed it into art. Andrea, (Yulia and Francesco)’s work truly translated  how we all felt and what went on before our eyes: A memory to treasure forever.
